Do you provide refunds?
Due to the nature of our research products, we cannot accept returned products for resale. Customers are responsible for confirming that the research material ordered is appropriate for their intended laboratory research requirements.
If an order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer support team so that we can review the issue and arrange a replacement where applicable. We may also provide refunds under our Shipping Protection terms, where applicable.
How can I correct my shipping details after placing an order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you mistakenly input the wrong shipping details. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to update the information.
Once we dispatch your order, we can’t change the delivery details. However, if the package is returned to us due to incorrect shipping information, we can resend it, but the customer will have to pay any extra reshipping costs.
Customs and Returns FAQs
Do I need to check my country’s customs requirements before ordering?
Yes. Customs regulations and import requirements vary between countries and regions. Customers are responsible for checking the laws, regulations and import requirements that apply in their destination before placing an order.
Peptide Works is unable to confirm whether a particular research product can legally be imported into every destination.
What happens if my order is delayed or held by customs?
Customs authorities may check, delay or hold foreign shipments. These processes are outside the control of Peptide Works and clearance times may vary depending on the destination.
If your order is affected by customs, please contact our customer support team. Where an eligible order is covered by Shipping Protection, we will review the circumstances and arrange a replacement where applicable under our Shipping Protection terms.
Customers remain responsible for complying with any local customs and import requirements.
Do you accept returns?
Because of the nature of our research products and the need to maintain proper storage and handling conditions, Peptide Works will not accept products returned for resale.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer support team so that we can review the issue and arrange a replacement where applicable.
What happens if my package is lost or damaged in transit?
If your package arrives damaged, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible with the relevant order details.
If an eligible shipment is lost in transit, or arrives damaged, we will review the circumstances and arrange a replacement where applicable under our shipping and Shipping Protection terms.
What happens if my order is returned because the shipping address is incorrect?
If an order is returned because the shipping address is inaccurate or incomplete, we will resend it after we verify the correct information.
Additional shipping charges may apply, and these will be the responsibility of the customer.
Product FAQs
Are packages labeled as peptides?
Orders are shipped in appropriate external packaging with the necessary delivery and return information. Product identification and relevant information are provided with the supplied research materials where applicable.
How are products stored before shipping?
Our research materials are stored under controlled conditions at our storage facilities before dispatch. Storage requirements may vary between products, and relevant storage information is provided for the individual research material where applicable.
Where do your products come from?
Peptide Works research peptides are manufactured by specialist facilities in Europe and the United States.
Manufacturing and quality documentation relating to individual products or batches is available where applicable.
Can you tell me how to use your products?
Peptide Works does not provide guidance on the human or veterinary use, administration or application of its products.
Our products are supplied solely as research materials for laboratory and scientific research and are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, administration, diagnosis or therapeutic application.
For questions relating to product specifications, analytical documentation or the supplied research material, please contact our team.
How can I verify the identity and purity of a product?
Analytical documentation is available for Peptide Works research materials where applicable. Depending on the product and batch, this may include documentation such as a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) or HPLC analysis.
Researchers should refer to the documentation supplied or published for the relevant product or batch when reviewing reported identity, purity, and other analytical characteristics.
If you have a question about the analytical documentation available for a particular product, please contact our team.
Peptide Storage FAQs
What type of vials are used for Peptide Works research peptides?
Peptide Works research peptides are supplied in laboratory-grade glass vials selected for the storage and containment of peptide research materials. Product presentation may vary depending on the specific peptide and batch.
What is the shelf life of research peptides?
Peptide stability varies according to the individual compound, storage conditions, and other factors. For this reason, we do not apply a single shelf-life estimate to every peptide. Researchers should refer to the storage information supplied for the specific product and any available batch documentation.
How should research peptides be stored?
Research peptides should be stored under the conditions specified for the individual product and protected from environmental factors that may affect stability, such as excessive heat, moisture and direct light. Where specific temperature requirements apply, these will be stated in the relevant product information.
Are there any precautions when handling research peptides?
Yes. Peptide Works products are supplied solely as research materials for laboratory and scientific research. Appropriate laboratory handling procedures should be followed according to the material being studied and the requirements of the research environment.
Peptide Works products are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, administration, diagnosis or therapeutic application.
Why can lyophilized peptides differ in appearance?
Lyophilized peptide materials can vary in physical appearance between different compounds and batches. The material may appear as a compact cake, fragmented material or loose powder. Movement during transportation can also alter its physical appearance.
Visual appearance alone should not be used to determine peptide identity or purity. Researchers should refer to the analytical documentation available for the relevant product or batch.
Can transportation affect the appearance of lyophilized peptide material?
Yes. Movement and vibration during transportation can cause lyophilized material to shift, fragment or change in appearance inside the vial. A change in physical presentation does not, by itself, establish that the chemical identity or purity of the material has changed.
Where analytical documentation is supplied, this should be used when reviewing the characteristics of the research material.
Where can I find storage information for a specific peptide?
Storage requirements can vary between research compounds. Researchers should check the relevant product page and available product or batch documentation for information applicable to the material they have purchased.
If clarification is required regarding the supplied research material or its documentation, please contact the Peptide Works team.
Peptide FAQs
What is peptide purity?
Peptide purity describes the proportion of the detected peptide-related material attributed to the target peptide under a specified analytical method.
HPLC is used for assessing the purity of peptides by separating the various components in a sample and then measuring the chromatographic peaks that result. UV detection at wavelengths such as 214 nm is often employed since peptide bonds have a strong absorption in this region.
The reported HPLC purity should be understood in light of the analytical method and all other relevant batch records since on its own it does not give a full measure of all the components which may be in a sample.
Where available, researchers can review the analytical documentation provided for the relevant Peptide Works product or batch.
What does lyophilized mean?
Lyophilization, also known as freeze-drying, is a process in which water is removed from a material under controlled conditions at low temperature and reduced pressure.
Many peptide research materials are supplied in lyophilized form. Different compounds have different storage requirements and stability, thus researchers should adhere to the information for the specific product or batch, rather than adopting one storage term to all peptides.
